Triangle Works envisions the Triangle area of El Sobrante and Richmond as a vibrant, community-centered destination where creativity, culture, and civic life come together. Our community development efforts focus on fostering a neighborhood that people are proud to call home—one that celebrates local voices, supports artistic expression, encourages collaboration, and creates opportunities for economic vitality. Since helping prevent the conversion of 5166 Sobrante Avenue into a convenience store and gas station, we have continued working alongside residents to shape a future rooted in connection, resilience, and accessibility for people of all ages. Today, we remain actively engaged in advocating for thoughtful development of key community spaces, including the former Christian High School property, recognizing that these places will play a critical role in creating a thriving Triangle that honors its unique identity and inspires a strong sense of belonging.
